Chapter 2

Due to popular demand, I will tell both of you how the story ended.

My babydoll cried for 3 or 4 minutes while I rubbed her back. Eventually the crying died down to a whimper and she rolled back over, snuggled up to me and went to sleep...until I got up. She then woke up and laid in my bed for the next hour watching me type on the computer. All the time making comments like "Daddy, watch this", "Oops, I tooted", "La, La, La, Daddy I'm singing. Daddy? DAADDY!". I would like to say it was very endearing, but it wasn't.

There was a reason for the crying however. We found out a 5 am the next morning when she woke up and started a puke/poop fest for the next few hours. Unfortunately I had to be to work and couldn't stay and help. Evidently the virus she had last week hasn't completely passed. My wife took her into the doctor and she has had nothing but cheerios and gatorade all day. She actually cried when we sat down to eat our supper of chicken and mac and cheese and she found out she couldn't have any. We did cave and let her eat some mac and cheese. I hope that doesn't come back to haunt us.
